We tried a purple kitchen and we are ready for something different :

*prioritize one level countertop instead of two, and use a darker pattern keeping a more square shape

*add new peninsula cabinets

*get other doors refaced

*6 inches backsplash tile (below existing outlets) using 24 wide tile to limit grout line, contrasting well with the counter

*new wall and bulkhead same color, less yellow, which bring a calm and richer ambiance

*new chimney hood fan against exterior wall (easier connection and straight exhaust)
