*select a large format tile (this one is 24 x 48) and install them vertically, up to ceiling. Porcelain chosen here is a light textured stone look
*finish sides with a metal edging
*no need to built-out wall and do more framing to get a strong statement
*refresh wall paint and get modern furniture
*add wall art on back wall.
